RWC/COI
A roadworthy certificate (or RWC) is essential in Queensland if you are offering your car for sale, transferring ownership, re-registering a vehicle or transferring your registration to another state. This acts as proof your registered vehicle is safe enough to drive on public roads.
Certificate of Inspection (COI) for booked hire vehicles – vehicles registered in Queensland may need to have a periodic or programmed inspection to check minimum vehicle safety standards. A COI is issued when the vehicle passes the inspection.
